I know it’s been really quiet here this past month, but everyone who’s been following the blog knows the reason.

That said, I’m currently on the train to Gatwick Airport, namely to catch my flight to Florence: I’ll be there for a week to do some digging and general nosing around, and naturally I’ll also be going to Vinci. Kitted out with everything I need to document whatever I encounter on the trails of Leonardo’s life in the city, I’ll be posting regular updates over the next 6 days.

While the posts here will be themed, filled with historical background as much as possible, and as always restricted to one a day, for anyone who wishes to see more random bite-size things from the trip may hop over to my personal twitter account, because that’s where I’ll be uploading photos as I take them, and they won’t always be Leonardo related, either. :)
